‘Muniya’ is a struggler from his younger days after losing parents and growing in the village chieftain. In this struggling role Mayoor Patel shines in every department. This is his best so far. His looks, hairstyle and electrifying ability to handle stunts earn him good response in the theatre. Muniya is a sacrificing personality.

What is disappointing in this film is the screenplay plus length that is not interesting for the audience. Had the director checked the screenplay and length this would have been a wonder!

Muniya is given tutelage in the house of village head and he is immensely attached to Gowra. Muniya breathes for Gowra safety. As they grow in life the relationship they share reminds ‘Doorada Betta’ song Preethine Aa Devru Thanda Asthige…. Things go hunky dory for Muniya as Gowra falls sick. She needs medical attention and Muniya has to pump money to the hospital. He takes up rowdy activities. What he earns from deals he makes he spends for good cause. Whether Gowra become alright? What happened to another city bred heroine Sheetal in the film. You have to watch it on screen!

There are two mind blowing stunts one on the three and another one in the charcoal house. Mayoor shines in this film and dialogue delivery he has purposefully maintained it of ‘Jogi’ Kannada cinema. Sahitya has a good beginning. Rangayana Raghu does not evoke good interest in his role.

O Chandamama…. Is best among all the songs! Abhiman Roy has done fairly good job in other two songs too. Camera work by Mathew Rajan gives disturbance to the eyes as some of the shots captured are in dark light.

This is for action and sentiment lovers.
