This is like a whiff of fresh air. Not a regular pattern but it is in the regular social life. The contents are very well packed with good locations, dialogues, performance and trump card is director Sanna Hegde glorious attempt. He remains distinct from other directors. This is a film for all age group.
Director Senna Hegde with three pair of actors starts telling the story in a convincing way and anyone could be part of it. The three pairs, three days journey is told in 144 minutes.
The cool and feel good title ‘Katheyondu Shuruvagide’ revolves around Tarun (Diganth) who runs a resort from his foreign earning in Mangaluru. There is Swarna (Shreya Anchan) Pedro (Ashwini Rao) Bhatta (Prakash) to his support.
Tarun respect senior citizen Murthy (Babu Hirannaiah) and wife Radha (Aruna Balaraj). At the entry of female protagonist Pooja the new avenues pick up for the film.
The three track story of an aged couple, middle and young age starts following on silver screen. The sensitive issues are what packed with skill and dexterity. Tarun and Tanya, Pedro and Swarna, Murthy and Radha carry the film till the end. The truth and lies that also runs in these tracks you have to find out buying tickets.
Diganth has a different kind of role of his career. He has banked more on emotions and gets major marks. Innocence of Pooja and her sense of responsibility are appealing. Ashwin Rao and Shreya Anchan are there to tickle your funny bones. To touch your hearts there is track of Babu Hirannaiah and Aruna Balaraj.
Dialogues in this film, Sachin Warior music and Sriraj Ravichandran cinematography given good support to the film in this joint venture of Rakshit Shetty and Pushkar Mallikarjunayya ‘Katheyondu Shuruvagide’.
This is a worth watching cinema.
