This is mother and daughter issue at the center. From where it started mother character moves to the same position to retain her daughter in danger. In the process the mother character faces lot of ordeals. She had to complete all obstacles surfacing in just three days.

The highpoint of this film ‘Mahira’ is that a few of Kannadigas and others have invested. A Kashimiri is also one of the investors. The premiere of this film is taking place in October in London. After that the Karnataka release is planned for this film ‘Mahira’. The shoot in just 40 days was held in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Honnavara – entire second half is in Bengaluru.

Raj B Shetty of Ondu Motteya Kathe is intelligence officer, Balaji Manohar is head of investigative team who gives lot of twists to the tale, Chytra is in bubbly role in the start but later takes on something startling. Keerthana Poojary best friend of director Mahehs Gowda is the cameraman and this is his debut. He has a few films on hand.

Chytra was auditioned first but she was rejected. After audition of 45 girls for the daughter role director finally invited his first audition girl and decided for the film. Chytra is a graduate in her role. In real life she has just completed engineering.
