Very sophisticated like ‘Mallige Hoovu’ Meghana Gaonkar is young lady with variety of thoughts and burning ambition to make it big in Kannada cinema is on top of ‘Charminar’. She wants to climb ‘Eiffel Tower’ of success in her days to come.
Come let us see what this ‘Halinanthe Bellagiruva’ Meghana Gaonkar has got to say in a recent chat before ‘Charminar’ media briefing:
· I have got lovely opportunity perform in ‘Charminar’. Even the quantum of smile is taught to me by director.
· I saw a few films to get prepared for this film. What I did not got in my previous three films – Nam Areyali Ondina, Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga and Tuglaq – I have found in ‘Charminar’.
· In my first film my role was raw. Second film it was soft and third film it was interesting.
· I am in all the four stages of the protagonist lovely star Premkumar.
· My role in ‘Charminar’ keeps the audience to guess and after the film it haunts. I am with minimum make up. Only condition I laid down to successful director R Chandru is related to dubbing my voice. I want my role to have my voice.
· In the profession so far I have learnt lot of discipline. For this film I also lost weight. I did feel that it was not necessary. I was not over weight. I agreed to director choice.
· As an educated girl I know what to talk and what not to talk. I know which party to be part.
· I have seen parties in the college days. I studied in Jain College. I am a professional dancer.
· I am short story writer. I have collection of 18 stories. I am inspired from Paulo Coelho ‘Now the River Side’.
· Let me see what happens when the short storied builds up.
· My father interest was that I should become an IAS. I am still at securing a government job in the days to come.
· The one thing I hate is waiting for the shot to come. I don’t waste time. I read a lot, hear to music.
