It is a sweet and refreshing ‘Laddoo’ from Laddoo Creations of Sharan and Atlanta Nagendra. ‘Rambo’ is a laugh riot. In the days of violence filled and intolerant films ‘Rambo’ is a ‘Sixer’ and it deserves four stars – for nice comedy script, nice production, nice music and nice cinematography!
It is in fact ‘Joke Falls’ often in the film from Sharan and Tabla Naani – when Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila turn up the laughter medicine goes a strong dosage.
Is comedy alone the ‘Jeevala’ of this film? No. Director MS Srinath supported well by Tarun Sudhir have made a captivating story and screenplay. The devotion towards the work is seen throughout the last frame of the film.
What is this ‘Rambo’ all about? ‘Rambo’ is nothing but a Pig. Like the different Avataras of Lord Vishnu, Sharan avatar is via Pig.
Using the superstitious belief the protagonist Kitty with uncle Premkumar (Sharan and Tabla Naani) does not easily gain from it. The duo does some hard work in their cheating business. In the process earn good money. We have heard of so many ways of cheatings and this is a new one. As long as superstitious people are there the duo like Sharan and Tabla Nani exist in our society.
Paying from the same coin is the same theory. When a high graded car is handled, the level of risk increases to the duo – Rs.25 crores and a body is tucked in the next catch via Umesh.
A terrorist gang behind body and former minister Annappa (Rangayana Raghu) are chasing the guys. At this point Kitty uses the brain of knowing what is there in the body. That is of Mercy from Pakistan who is a friend of Kitty fiancé Revathi. When the body is scanned it is known a fracture leg is fixed with a steel rod. That rod is tucked with a pen drive. That has got the terrorism activities.
As a true Indian Kitty surrender the information to the DC Vijayalakshmi (Shruthi). The money is also deposited for the right place – the trickster Kitty and drunkard Premkumar now gets a government job.
Sharan is very good in his portions. Firstly as a producer with Atlanta Nagendra has made a right selection of script and screenplay – for his 100th film it is a right film. He has not crossed the limits. Tabla Nani is active throughout and timing is perfect. Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Shruthi, Umasri – are four other trump cards of this film.
Arjun Janya musical scores are on top gear. In a sorrow filled song also he wins besides two good tunes of the film that are very entertaining and visually a treat. Mane tanaka bare…Jaya Jaya Jacket….are well choreographed.
Another potential team member of ‘Rambo’ is S Krishna. The grandeur is well captured. The editing is also in right order.
‘Rambo’ as told earlier by www.chitratara.com it is a ‘Rustum Comedy’ a day in advance, it is precisely so. A decent and worth watching family entertainer!
Like the song Mane Tanaka Baare….it is time for you to go theatre Tanaka.
