Dayal Padmanabhan director and founder of D Pictures has joined again with highly talented writer, singer and prominent actor Naveen Krishna in giving latest touch to the 1962 play of highly talked about ‘Pavarthavani’. Umesh Banakar has joined in production of the film ‘Haggada Kone’.
A well made trailer of the film was released by MLA and KFPA President Munirathna Naidu. The website on Parvathavani – www.parvathavani.com was declared open by Smt Vijayalakshmi daughter in law of Parvathavani. D Pictures and Veerabhadreshwara Cinema is coming out with many more websites on the literary personalities in the coming days.
After 52 years also the play of Parvathavani is relevant to present generation shows the strength of the writer. According to Naveen Krishna the film has substance for taking a look at the national and international level.
Dayal Padmanabhan has given a fine touch to the 45 minutes play and expanded it to the present generation. Suchindra Prasad, Munirathna Naidu, V Manohar, Sihikahi Geetha, Dattanna welcomed the step of such adaptation.
Munirathna Naidu recalled his ‘Raktha Kanneeru’ that was 75 years old Tamil play made in Kannada as a film. This is ‘Sariyada Olle Cinema’ felt Dattanna, I am fan of Dayal from his film ‘Yogaraj But…’ said V Manohar, It is Sarvakalika and Sarvabowma work said Suchindra Prasad who plays jailor in the film.
