A film from jewelry businessman Amar Chaudhary ‘Mantram’ is like precious jewel of this team. Facing ordeals and strange developments at Daulat Mahal in Raichur an ancient 300 years old Palace, the team of ‘Mantram’ is feeling relieved with 95 percent of shooting completion.
It is Shri Aai Ji Films maiden venture. 70 percent of the film shoot was held in the dilapidated palace. The team faced strange happenings and that in fact blocked the shooting smoothly. After consulting a Swamiji, ‘Vaasthu Homa’ was held at this place. The 25 days shooting finally took 42 days time.
It has been childhood ambition of Chaudhary to get in to films as an actor. He is now a producer and waited for four years for right script to convince his style. Giving the charge to Sajjan as director he is now feeling happy for the shape up of the film. The team with 50 films experience he finds it in this team distinct work.
It is not horror but anxiety remains throughout the film says a youth from Raichur Sajjan. He prepared the trailer first and then found a producer. In ten minutes the script was approved. Producer Chaudhary was 99 percent sure of making the film but he was looking for permission from goddess Chowdeshwari of Dasaraghatta. He even got the good feel with a Pooja at that place. Sajjan remembered this incident addressing media.
Mani Shetty of Kundapura is making debut as hero. He was in paltry roles before. Beautiful looking Pallavi is female lead. Dilip is second lead. He is brother to heroine Pallavi. Four youths from college come to solve the problem faced in the heroine house.
Gaurish Akki, Shashi Deshpandey, Arpith, Mithun, Prathap, Zyra, Poornima, Anil, Vishwanath, Jagadish Jhala, Undadi Gunda Harish, Sthavana are also in the cast.
Ajanish Lokanath has scored background music, Rashid Ahmed Khan tuned five songs, Jo Ni Harsha is editor, Rajshekhar of 143 fame has used Red Epic camera for the film.
