Television journalist Vittal Bhat much ambitious project ‘Priti Kitabu’ is all set to on silver screen on 26th of February in over 40 theatres. The film has the story lent by hero of the film Nihal. It is a real life story happened in his friend life. A portion of it is picked for this film with some new additions from the director and his team.
A film with new team is produced by Shamanth K Rao who is son of Krishnamurthy producer of Melody Kannada cinema. According to Shamanth the scene after first show of ‘Melody’ was very depressing in the theatres. He made it a point to come out with a very good project. So he took up production of this film on his shoulders from his father.
Venkatesh is distributing the film ‘Priti Kitabu’. According to director Vittal Bhat the film is having a matured concept and it is not silly at any point. For the film the shoot was held underneath the Jog Falls. Even cross the danger gates. The shoot was held in and around Sagar taluk of Shimoga district. We have face book and pages in the life of actress Rashmi. It is of course a triangular love story. The protagonist support the researcher who is heroine of the film. That is played by Dhuniya Rashmi.
V Manohar adds one more feather in his cap. With one particular letter ‘Tha’ he has written a song that has 100 plus ‘Tha’ beginning words. It is Rajesh Krishnan who made it further interesting he says. Rangi Taranga has also made similar attempt. V Manohar song is ‘Tavakava Talenu Tavareye…Tanisuveya…..V Manohar also thanked Puneeth Rajakumar for adjusting his time at a very tiny studio to sing a song for this film.
Ganesh Hegde makes debut as cameraman. He has shot in the Malnad region completely.
Actor Nihal a debut hero (he starred in Yaradhu of Dr Leelavathi film) and says the content is what happened before his eyes.
Dhuniya Rashmi feels it is a second innings for her in the career. Poorvi hailing from Gujarat learning Kannada has done second lead in the film. She sacrifice her love for her friend.
