The prestigious Suvarna satellite channel functioning after taking over from Asianet as Suvarna satellite channel in the last seven years and reaching to the No.2 position in the market is now re-launched with STAR SUVARNA with the mega epic ‘Hara Hara Mahadeva’ launch time. The mega epic on Lord Shiva is said to be Rs.60 crore venture for Star Suvarna – the re launch and launch of HHM are both happening from 25th of July 2016.


Mr Ashok Namboodri business head of Star Suvarna regional channel proudly announced that it is never before in the regional channel of south that such a mega television serial is launched. We are concentrating more on the life of people in story telling from a large family. It is a timely launch of HHM and time suits impeccably for re launch of Suvarna as Star Suvarna he says.

We have expert team headed by Deepak Garg, the CG, costume and nearly 300 people involved in making HHM will be successful only when it is accepted by the people. He hopes this one to be a mile stone. He expects game change from this HHM.


Nikhil Sinha producer of Hara Hara Mahadeva says it is set in the standards of Hindi ‘Devonki Dev Mahadev’. We are using some of the paintings and backdrops for this Kannada version. It is a mix of south and north in bringing this majestically made HHM. The challenge was when we have to recreate everything after two years of closure of Devonki Dev Mahadev. Secondly not knowing the language uplift is very important.


Vinay Gowda who plays the role of Lord Shiva was first selected for a demon role. When he was asked to shave his beard and come he was given the clean chit for Lord Shiva role. He was weighing more. Cut down his weight by 14 kilograms. It is a challenge for me and the professionalism is very good stated Vinay Gowda.


At the start of the media meet the confusion was whether Sudeepna (later she did anchor work) is the one for Parvathi role in ‘Hara Hara Mahadeva’. Later Sangeetha joined the media address sorted out the confusion. Sudeepan anchor of the show could be a parallel choice for HHM.


Deepak Garg is handling cinematography and direction. Nitin Gopi and Srinivas Prasad are episode directors. The international standard graphics are to increase grandeur.
