At last ‘Veera Ranachandi’ the second swashbuckling movie of action heroine, Mass Heroine Ragini Dwivedi is hitting silver screen on 10th of March. At the pre release meet the pathetic stage of producer Kuppuswamy was disclosed by veteran producer Sooorappa Babu.

In the last two and half years Kuppuswamy struggled very hard. For the release of this Rs.4 crores plus ‘Veera Ranachandi’, he has mortgaged his house. This situation should not come to any producer stated Soorappa Babu as secretary of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. I have seen the difficulty of Kuppuswamy. He is in the industry in the last four decades. In the last one and half years he was dodged for satellite rights. There are over 385 Kannada films for satellite rights waiting. For this Veera Ranachandi, the budget was told as Rs.1.5 crores it went beyond that has become problem for producer. It should not happen like that. Today Anand P Raju is not keeping good health; we wish good recovery for him. 

For cinema making the systematic set up is not seen. For one rupee it is told as Rs.100. I have told Kuppuswamy not to make films in future. I was taken back with Danger Zone producer was killed in a murder. In cinema everyday is not Sunday. Babu also discussed Kuppuswamy issue of mortgage of the house with his producer council and trying all ways to save his house. He also urged actor like Ragini Dwivedi to stand by the producer and support him in the recovery of his investment.

Story writer Arun (director of Loosugalu) stated that this is the first straight subject of Kuppuswamy. He thanked him for the opportunity. This is a mass entertainment cinema. A village girl moving to city the film focus on culture and nativity he stated.
