Mana Mechchida Bangaru- A FILM FOR FAMILY
Posted date: 31 Sat, Oct 2015 – 10:16:00 AM

Title – Mana Mechchida Bangaru, Producer – Bangaru Hanumanthu, Direction – Om Saiprakash, Music – K Kalyan, Cinematography – R Giri, Cast – Bangaru Hanumanthu, Roja, Srinivasamurthy, Ravishanker, Ramesh Bhat, Sadhu Kokila, Shobaraj and others.

When Om Saiprakash is there is no worry for a family film! Mana Mechchida Bangaru is an expensive film from Bangaru Hanumanthu has good elements but the force and spirit approach is slightly missing.

Om Saiprakash 98th film set in the background of an innocent love story. The six foot tall actor Bangaru Hanumanthu looks good. He is having good physique. A theatre like Sapna his height is not right showcase. He has simple dancing moments for his height. He is too good in action scenes in ‘Mana Mechchida Bangaru’.

What is this ‘MMB’ all about? A Good Samaritan Bangaru helps a few in his life but when he tries to bail out Mamata (Chulbuli according to Ravishanker) the trouble breaks out. A eunuch Maharani (Ravishanker) running brothel house has purchased Mamata by paying Rs.5 lakhs and ten thousand rupees. He wants to get Mamata at any cost. Bangaru takes it seriously in saving her grace. He elopes with Mamata from brothel house. A corrupt cop now joins Maharani. In another encounter Bangaru picks the service revolver from a cop. That has finally a slowdown in the attack. The master mind of corrupt cop now puts another hit on Bangaru when he is at Madikeri (in the house of Ramesh Bhat – who considers him as son).

This time Bangaru is brutally hit. Mamata is taken back to brothel house. At this place Bangaru takes a stern decision of killing Maharani and corrupt cop.

The new heroine Roja is good looking. She has a good future. Bangaru Hanumanthu should work in more talented directors to prove his talent. Ramesh Bhat, Ravishanker, Shobaraj are very good in their roles.

Endigu Mareyolla Ninna….and Neenu Nakkare Apsare….songs are well scored and captured on screen. Camera work is quite OK. Some hard hitting dialogues were required for debutant Bangaru Hanumanthu.

Score – 3.5/5
