The Karnataka Rajya Kalavidara Okkuta has made a plea for Rs.100 crores to the Karnataka government on Wednesday.
The team was lead by KFCC President DR Jairaj and Sharanappa Lakshmana Toranakara of Yadagiri submitted the memorandum.
In the letter submitted it is learnt the government of Karnataka is permitted to use Rs.1500 crores GST amount by the central government. In this connection Rs.100 crores as emergency fund to meet the needs of several thousands of people in the industry would be helpful it says.
The memorandum is given in the letter head of Karnataka Rajya Kalavidara Okkuta dated 7th April.
Meanwhile a team lead by DR Jairaj, Rockline Venkatesh and others met the Karnataka Minister for Labor and submitted another memorandum for quick relief to the thousands of workers at the crucial juncture of Corona 19 taking away the livelihood.
