The senior journalist from Karnataka S Shyamprasad book ‘Enigmas of Karnataka’ has not made much talking but the video made from this book has given startling information that makes one feel proud.
Yes, it is a dig from the past. The new video of 4 minutes of 47 seconds of senior journalist giving running commentary talks about the ‘Premada Kanike’ made in Karnataka in 1592 that is 40 years prior to the majestic building ‘Taj Mahal’ built by Shahajahan in 1632.
It is only when the history (it is dead stock according to a few) we get to know the facts of the past that is interesting. This is the novel attempt of S Shyamprasad from the pages of his book ‘Enigmas of Karnataka’.
S Shyamprasad has taken the case of Keladi King Shivappa Nayaka building a lake as his wife commit suicide. It is in Shivamogga district Sagara Taluk Anandapura. The senior Venkatappa Nayaka builds a lake in the name of Champaka Sarasu. This is prevalent even today. The time around it was built according to people is 1592. There is a reference to it from an Italian in his book, says Shyamprasad and that makes his discovery very strong. Champaka Sarasi is also a Math according to another finding. Yet the symbol of love was found first in Karnataka is a matter to take note.
Shyamprasad has also given a lovely visual splendor in his short video and his running commentary on episode one is very absorbing.
