‘Rajeeva’ Kannada film starring Mayur Patel in three different shades and double role for the first time is a comeback for the actor after five years.
Mayur Patel is playing both father and son. For the film he has put on weight and then reduced to bring in justice. However this ‘Rajeeva’ is IAS educated. The trouble he finds for the farmers make him to convert his ‘Indian Administrative Service’ position to ‘Indian Agricultural Service’.

Like how people transformed after watching Rajivappa Dr Raj in ‘Bangarada Manushya’, people watching this film ‘Rajeeva’ would leave their jobs in cities to maintain the land in their ancestor’s names. Rohit has done music for six songs. Editor of the film feels the city youths would get a feel and they might return to villages watching this film.
Ramaiah from theatre in an old farmer role had seen the zeal in the team to give a convincing film.
Mayur Patel donned 60 plus age and after performing for this role he reduced his weight for young Rajeeva in the film. It was a big task he feels in his comeback.
