The elections to Kannada Film Producers Association held today at SV Towers elected Ramakrishna DK alias Praveen Kumar as new President. Ramakrishna secured 135 votes and defeated SV Rajendra Singh Babu who got 93 votes while the sitting president Munirathna Naidu got just five votes.

MG Ramamurthy was elected as Vice President with 117 votes while nearest rival HC Srinivas Shilpa Srinivas got 85 votes, K Manju is honorary secretary.

The Executive committee members elected are Ba Ma Girish, NM Suresh, A Ganesh, Umesh Banakar, Subramani V (Kari Subbu) JG Krishna, Pramila Joshai, Nandihal, Narasimhulu and others.
