`Some people are chosen for reason` – this is the slogan of the film `Rudri` that is startling in its teaser. The revenge saga of a disenchanted woman is evident from this Badigere Devendra direction.

BD hails from Northern part of Karnataka. He says the intention of the film is to showcase the woman power. She can emerge as winner against trouble shooters. No more she can be treated as victim is the crux of this film.

The teaser of this film was released by power star Puneeth Rajakumar in the last month. 

Pawana Gowda is in the title role ‘Rudri’, the shoot for the film was held in northern Karnataka. BD has written story and screenplay. CR Manjunath is produce and Sanjay Hakhu is co producer.

Vijay Bharadwaj has penned dialogue, Sadhu Kokila has done music while Bharat Naik lent the background score.
