S S Mahender (additional S to Mahender in title card) has given a women centric cinema with powerful action heroine Malashri doing lot of job in the film ‘Mahakaali’.

All women issues are handled in this film and all of them are given solution to the best of knowledge. Stunts and bashing up is more in this film. The newcomer Naresh Gowda and a few girls in Malashri Company have given good performance. Mico Nagaraj as Home Minister with new look has good dialogues and he is in front runner for villain roles.

Karnataka Mahila Rakshana Vedike is the evolution of Devi (Malashri). She has four dejected girls who are dashing to her company. As the story writer Ajay Kumar has assembled all the major issues of women – men beating women, sending mother out of the house, killing attempt of pregnant woman, deceiving of sister by brother, chit fund company cheating women etc follow one by one.

When the issue of saving the daughter in law of Home Minister comes, Devi faces hardship. Goons trash her and abandon her. It is ‘Mahakali’ who gives power to finish off all wrong doers.

Malashri once again excel in action. Dilip Prakash and Pooja are quite OK. Palani Raj and Thriller Manju done their best in giving powerful action portions.
