After a long wait ‘Gooli Hatti’ hit the silver screen with a few positive elements. All characters in the front life – five youths, heroine Tejaswini, second Mamata Rawat, villains – Sharat Lohitsahva, Adi Lokesh, Mico Nagaraj, mother character.....so on meet a fatal end. The end part of the film is touching and it is much beyond ‘Jogi’. Director Shashank Raj has struggled hard. He has pooled good lot of energy. He has in the undercurrent left a message that end is definite for rowdy life.

Five youths  - Pawan Soorya, Mahesh, Raghavendra, Appu Venkatesh and Aman working for Sathya (Sharat Lohitashva) an underworld don decide to find a better living after they meet a dejected dancer played by Mamata Rawat. The life really comes to a better standing you feel but there is one more rowdy gang (Mico Nagaraj and Adhi Lokesh) that is looking for life of five men army.

A series of tragedies strike one by one but the ailing mother do not get to see the son Pachchi. Pachchi is cremated before his mother is cremated. These are very touching elements.

Another interesting and absorbing portion of this film is Sri Mylarilingeshwara festival that is captured in aerial shots. It is superb indeed.

Whether we get a few artists going in the coming days or not, we have a cop role actor- producer of the film Bhargava doing a fine job.

This is 155 minutes and 26 seconds ‘Gooli Hatti’ could have been pruned by 20 minutes. The songs scored by Sri Manju are pretty good. Madhu Mounada.....song is very melodious. Bhattana Mane....song loses the link. Camera work from Safety Prakash is admirable.

Good in making, well done in some of the parts. You can watch this once. Score – 3/5
