The fun filled, action loaded first half of ‘Jaguar’ Kannada cinema of debutant Nikil Kumar gets back the Paisa for pre interval itself but when one wait for the big writer Vijayendra Prasad story in the second half - it is usual revenge saga by son on insult meted to his father who died when he was a child.

Of course Mahadev M has given gripping moments – the lavish sets, the grand capture in the camera, exotic locations, tolerable music, excellent performances lift the film to a higher level in making and takings.


As a college boy SS Krishna (nikil Kumar) claim as an Orphan takes admission to Medical College. He is a first year student. He agrees that he has copied in his examination. While copying also he has made it cleverly as he saves the life of a patient who is on the verge of death. SS Krishna on his entry to the college creates sensation. He is also a rare character to understand.


In the Krish make up he takes on a few persons starting from a judge – that is a live murder. This becomes a headache to the law enforcement authorities. There a few more such cases the police is not able to nab the real culprit. Finally SS Krishna comes to the place where he wanted to come posing as very innocent. He meets his target in a style with intelligence. As a dashing youngster he makes all his operations live is another top gear quality of the film. The reason for such action from SS Krishna the flash back is very tragic.


Here is another promising youngster with ability on Kannada screen, except dialogue delivery Nikil Kumar has passed his first test with flying colours. He is brilliant in his moments; action is extraordinary in romantic moments he is worth watching. The costume selection for him is also on good standards. Deepti Sati looks good but opportunity is less.


Avinash, Sampath Kumar, Aditya Menen, Jagapathi Babu, Bjarangi Loki given their best. Sadhu Kokila, Prashanth Siddi comedy is quite OK. Another character Arya (screen name) shines well.

Tamanna song number for Taman SS music is richly captured but not long lasting. SS Thaman has used more sound and not concentrated on the lyrics that are supposed to reach the ears.


Manoj Paramahsa cinematography is another high point of this 147 minutes and 22 seconds cinema.

Producer HD Kumaraswamy and Anitha Kumaraswamy have not done anything short for this film. The Mysuru Infosys campus is a treat to watch.
