Wow, what a beautiful, crisp and tidy cinema for the family. It has mix of underworld, police encounter and mother sentiment. In this universe ‘Amma’ is the one word that is matchless and it is like such a courtesy and calmness. Like how the sea has patience, a mother has such patience.

It is ‘Madamakki’ we are talking about. You would definitely get back your money for the film you would watch. Thanush has shown exemplary strength, Saikumar stuns with minimum of dialogues, Thara as mother haunts you very much.

As a young boy Sadhu run away from home and after 15 years he wants to settle down in Dubai with very big name in underworld. He has everything with him. He wants to have a look at his mother once before departing to Dubai. His three friends also join him (all of them have grown up from bonded labor).

When they decide to come to Madamakki to meet Sadhu mother Rathnamma, they are hunted by Mumbai cop Shanker and his team.

In the team of Sadhu and three friends, Anjali also joins as she is a childhood friend. She is not aware of the background of Sadhu and team.

As the Sadhu and team cross over thick forest they are attacked. Sadhu mother Rathnamma living with her husband and another son in a remote place have poverty behind them. Sadhu knowing such trauma of this mother comes very close to meet her. Then destiny, sorry director Vinay Preetham has some staggering moments that definitely touches your heart and soul.

The top cop also becomes silent with such a development. We want to keep this as a secret.

 
Thanush in his second film has improved well. He has one lovely action and his thirst to meet mother is very well exhibited. Nikita Narayan is another admirable actress you would not miss your eyes. She is emotionally also too good.

Saikumar has graduated from ‘Rangi Taranga’ and his zeal and zest for acting with some of the fine dialogues for him is worth watching. Rajendra Karanth comedy at places has worked out. It is better than Kari Subbu comedy.

There are two songs – both are lovely from Anoop Seelin. Kiran Hampapura in his camera has given a rain effect to the cinema. The background score and special effects are fine treat.

The film is just 109 films – entertaining, engaging and engrossing. What else your require to get up and go to this cinema?
