Jayanna Combines – Jayanna and Bhogendra production ‘Boxer’ is superb in many angles. Firstly there is a silence, innocence, pure love, good emotions plus spectacular action.

The chilling action scenes of ‘Boxer’ Raja (Dhananjay) are a mass appeal content. Preetham Gubbi loves silence it seems. So he has brought many serene and sensible scenes with hero and heroine.

In this 124 minutes ‘Boxer’ the characterisation of Dhananjay and Kruthika Jayakumar is very well done by the director.

The ‘Raja’ of ‘Boxing’ is ‘Boxer’. He wins boxing by betting countering opponents fixed by Rangayana Raghu. In the night time he works as ‘Toll’ keeper. It is at this place he meets Lakshmi (Kruthika) a blind but self reliant girl. As the toll is very near to Lakshi residence she comes here to hear the TV Serial ‘Punar Vivaha’.  The innocence of Lakshmi is liked by Raja. The honesty of Raja is the lovable point for Lakshmi.

From the Boxing contest Raja also helps the missionary. He has a horrible background of collecting interest for money lender at any cost. One of the cases also changes his mind to social service in his life.

The post interval is what you expect. Lakshmi needs to undergo Retina operation. The need is Rs.30 lakhs. This time Raja takes an international boxing contest. He wins the money but back home he is brutally attacked. At home Lakshmi regains eye sight. She is looking for Raja very eagerly. Raja finally meets Lakshmi or not you have to see in the big screen.

Dhananjay is superb in his stunts, the dialogue delivery he has not changed from DSP time. Kruthi Jayakumar is a wonderful choice. She looks so sweet, simple and serene. She has wonderful career ahead. Rangayana Raghu as mentor of Dhananjay, Sumithramma as mother in Missionary is apt choice.

V Harikrishna has given melody and peppy songs are so apt to the occasions. The solo in the background when Lakshmi is waiting for Raja is best in melody.

Preetha cinematographer of ‘Oggarane’ has done a precise job again. The night effect, top angle, close ups are simple additional value additions to this film.

Not only action lovers, the family as a whole can watch this ‘Boxer’!
