The one actor who takes the film on his shoulders is power star Puneeth Rajakumar with great effort and remaining absolutely perfect to his fans.

Pawan Wadeyar is sure to hit a hat trick from ‘Ranavikrama’. He has showed how brilliant he is in his thinking and holding the attention of the audience. His research work is good except the statement of ‘Company Sirkaar’. For the interval this youngster he gives the audience money back. Next it is bonus for the audience.

Chilling action scenes, powerful dialogues, mind blowing cinematography, peppy music, tight screenplay in 147 minutes ‘Ranavikrama’ is also answer to the people who talk about quality and substance.

A cop aspirant Vikram (Puneeth Rajakumat) becomes ‘Ranavikrama’ as he exercises his power. He is directly appointed by the Home Minister (Dr Girish Karnad), his promise to his fiancé is that he marries her only after becoming cop. It is corruption that is coming in the middle. Vikrama hatches a plot to win the heart of the Home Minister. He is given a posting at the findings of a lady journalist who is missing in the same place. Vikrama sets his eyes strongly and finds ‘Vikrama Theertha’ very interesting place. He gives good living to the people and bail them out from slavery. He makes his findings in this border area of Karnataka and Maharashtra. The government declares this place belongs to Karnataka. The Uranium strength in this area is like platinum for foreigner.

With these developments on one side we go to flash back of Vikrama that is 1947 era. He is married to Gowri (Anjali) and the colony of his place is attacked by the British in the pre independence period. The same place is the eye of storm today. The generation next of the then ruler – last viceroy of British Empire wants this Uranium from this region. How the developments takes place in the coming reels are dashing and swashbuckling.

Power star Puneeth Rajakumar suits immaculately. He has done fantastic stunts. His dancing ability is increasing from film to film. Ada Sharma and Anjali are in competition in first and second half. Avinash is grand, Vikram Singh is deadly, Dinesh Mangaluru shouts a lot. Rangayana Raghu does not evoke much laughter.

Gowri Gowri….song is very melodious and so is Neenade…..title track with shade of ‘Ranaranga’ film is placed at the right time.

Vaidhu should get notable awards for his cinematography. He is outstanding in his work. The top angles are fabulous.
