Like almost all lyricists failing to give a convincing cinema (Kaviraj, Ghouse Peer, Arasu Anthare etc), this lyricist Shivu Jamakhandi also joins the failure list. Without knowing the need of the present generation audience, not aware of direction norms Shivu Jamakhandi has entered the new phase of direction in his profession. A convincing screenplay is missing; the scenes are adjusted like a novice director.

Deceiving on the same issue for many a times is unacceptable in this fast generation that looks for quick remedies. The protagonist Shanker (Son of Shanker Nag in the film) is deceived thrice in the issue of love. Finally in a scene of all pounce on him – previous dialogue of Tode Muridu Tambaku Tumbtini….has no meaning. Vijaya Raghavendra should have been careful in selection. For Nidhi Subbayya, there is nothing much to express.

The film gives half a dozen yawns for its lackluster screenplay and no good developments turning up. An orchestra singer Shanker is also Madarangi specialist on the arms. He falls to the beauty of a rich family girl Priya. When the love proposal comes from Priya, he turns down. The decisive nature of Priya makes him to accept her love. This is not tolerated by Shiva brother of Priya.

In the hit back on love, the life is a setback for Shanker. Priya goes speechless after a bloody fight. She is on wheels. Shanker takes care with a severe injury to his right hand.

The song Majoobaathagide….is melodious, the tribute song to Kannada filmdom personalities is pretty good. Camera work of this film is glorious part. The lagging of the film – that is especially when the ‘Shahiyiris’ come and lengthy scenes should have been avoided.

Sudha Belawadi, Gururaj Hoskote, Chikkanna, Tilak and others have given good support.

Shivu Jamakhandi needs to take lessons in the direction department. He has not given complete care to the diction of northern Karnataka Kannada shows his inability.
