Inspired from one of the foreign language films (it is Body of Spain-made in other language) ‘Game’ is very ordinary for those who have watched CID in Sony from last 15 years. All types of investigation, whodunit, and thrills have come in CID TV serial.

Yet for Kannada audience ‘Game’ is a good film to watch as suspense unravels at the end on a flyover shot. After you watch this film does not reveal the thrill part. Yet you can talk about the effects of drunken driving effect in our society that is a big headache.

A business tycoon Maaya (Monisha Koirala) body is missing from mortuary. It is very cleverly removed the mortuary. The security guard of this mortuary also meets up with a ghastly accident. Only oe camera has worked during this time.

That makes the entry of Sharat a top cop to take up the case. Maaya husband Shaam is interrogated. At the outset we get to know Rs.10 crore insurance is the main reason and needle of suspicion falls on Shaam. He is locked in the police investigation room. Past life of Maaya and Sham surfaces to the audience reveals so many things. Yet the actual reason for missing body is not known. On the other hand the lover of Shaam is supporting him. The investigation goes on for a while. Finally it lands up with some shocking revelations.

Arjun is apt for the role of Sharat. Shaam has done well in carrying emotions. Monisha Koirala looks very aged and not impressive. Aqsa Bhat is quite OK. Maestro Ilayaraja background score is loud at places.

There was no need of songs for this film, the interruption AMR Ramesh character makes while Arjun as Sharat is saying something is not in protocol procedure.

The lovers of suspense thrill and nail biting finish could easily watch this film.
