TERRIFIC TYSON!
Posted date: 05 Sat, Mar 2016 – 08:47:55 AM
Title – Tyson, Producer Babu Reddy, Direction Ramnarayan, Music – Jassie Gift, Ganesh and Ravi Basrur, Cinematography – KM Vishnuvardhana and Rajashekhar, Cast – Vinod Prabhakar, Gayathri Iyer, Ravi Kaale, Suman, Srinivasamurthy, Vinayaprakash, Chikkanna and others.

As all expected that this ‘Tyson’ will be a big change over for talented action hero Vinod Prabhakar – it is completely true. Vinod Prabhakar has come to the main front of action heroes from this film. He looks good, performs well and unbeatable in action portions.

In making the script and screenplay, lot of homework is made for this film. The extent of corruption in police department is unearthed. The idea derived to book culprits is also convincing. The plus and minus of police – in a conversation of Srinivasamurthy and Vinaya Prakash is also well derived.

Soorya (Vinod Prabhakar) hailing from a middle class family is aiming for sub inspector post. He is a daring youth. Even before the order for the post, he does lot of help. He has a lovely lady from the family of Srinivasamurthy – Gayathri Iyer. The love in to marriage is not that easy as both families are poles apart in thoughts.

At this point of time the corruption in police department for the appointment of sub inspector spoils the chances of Soorya and his friends. They hatch a plot to record the corruption details. The senior cop in this case is also involved takes further stress on aspirants. How the difference of opinion between two families and Soorya agenda of getting the corrupt free appointment is what you have to watch.

In the dialogue department director Ramnarayan has worked very strongly. ‘If you are good I am oxygen, if you are bad I am poison’ is apt for the present scenario.

The songs from three music directors are also on higher quality. Avanyaaro Gotthe Illa,,,, Kannalle Kunte Bille… are good in quality.

This is the best of Vinod Prabhakar in his career. From this film he should not turn back. Accept only strong roles that appeal to masses. He roars like his father Tiger Prabhakar. Bringing in Tiger Prabhakar at a few places is a good choice from director.

Gayathri Iyer is not having just touch and go role. She has screen space to perform. She is a heroine to watch in many films. Srinivasamurthy and Vinaya Prakash are apt for their roles.

The comedy track of Kuri Pratap, Girish, Vishwa, Chikkanna is another bonus in this film ‘Tyson’. The editing is too good at places. The commercial film formula is well assessed in ‘Tyson’.

This is worth a ‘dekko’!

Score – 4/5
