In the general knowledge we have a ‘Ghost’ takes revenge to fill its thirst on the wrong doers. We have not seen ghost committing crime. The attached people to the crime are given testing time is OK. In this ‘U Turn’ the ghost for the killing of her child takes revenge on 10 innocent persons (the only crime they have done is pushing cement blocks on the busy flyover roads). As a matter of fact the culprit, the ‘ghost’ knows as the film nears to 120 minutes is none other than her own husband. Knowing what stress he has given to his wife and child, the husband falls from height, the ghost saves her husband.


Something not precise and acceptable in ‘U Turn’ a long and protracted screenplay is a big worry on the thinking part of Pawan Kumar. There is no opinion drawing for this type of story and screenplay in facts sucks our time.


A cub reporter in a newspaper Rachana gets the rare idea of doing a story on those who adjust the cement block on flyover and take U turn. She gets the help of an innocent and in her possession has 10 persons who have done like that. She gets the addresses of all those and is about to meet all of them one by one. She finds all of them are dead and the police declare it as suicide.In the climax we get to know for adjusting the cement block a mother and child had to give up life. This is the reason for ghost to take revenge on all those who adjust the cement block on the flyover.


Shradda Srinath is a treat to watch and in her debut film she conquers. Roger Narayan an NRI in cop role is very natural and come out with flying colors. Dilip Raj deserved a better role. For Radhika Chetan the talent is not tapped. Pratiba Nandakumar as lady constable should have taken more graduated roles.

Poornachandra Tejaswi background score, Sathya Hegde and team cinematography are on top. The dialogues are well written.


Keeping aside minus points still you can watch this film once.
