What is new in this yet another ‘Maramari’ Kannada film that suits to the existing image of Darshan? Darshan profession on screen is Chartered Accountant. That is the only difference. He has done the excellent balance sheet of goons and nearly 150 plus rowdies would get bashed up from him is a wrong calculation. It might be more than that but Chartered Accountant Darshan only should say.
Has Darshan not become sick of doing this kind of films? Has Mahesh Babu a director with some brain not been able to judge what trickster Janardhan Maharshi given in the screenplay? No one told these guys and Darshan that it is nothing but the favorite of N Om Prakash Rao ‘Bereke Soppina Saaru’. When N Om Prakash Rao is also in the acting department probably he kept it aloof.
Falling in love and falling on baddies is the job of Abhay. At the interval point Abhay keeps everyone guessing. By safely handing over the lover to the gang of baddies! But he enters the same house with unconvincing style. Baddies are not brainy till the end. They know the trick played by Abhay. Then it is flood of action. The reaction of audience is for cup of strong double filter coffee.
Darshan has easily done this role and he looks handsome and sweet in romantic moments. Arthi is not right heroine for Darshan. Om prakash Rao gives some lovely moments. Rawath and gang shout a lot.
Two songs are good from Harikrishna, cinematography from Ramesh Babu is pleasant to the eyes and hitting to the brains because of film is loaded with action.
