The six minutes exhilarating moments of Dr.Rajakumar in mythological attire coming on screen to bless his fan Muthu in the hospital where the hero is laid on death bed with throat cancer operation is the most interesting point of this film. Other than this the film has nothing to boast even in the acting department.
Born in the family of die hard Dr.Rajakumar fans – Muthu takes liking to Dr.Rajakumar from his young age. He is always with a gold color Dr.Rajakumar statue in his bag. If that slips from his hand he can jump from fourth floor of shopping complex to see its safety. Muthu’s father is a good friend of a popular doctor and his daughter is Arpana. Both Muthu and Arpana are childhood friends. So in the family also they look for these two becoming partners in life but destiny has something else in store. Muthu is affected with throat cancer and his chance of becoming a singer like Rajanna is remote. But the arrival of a specialist saves Muthu with a successful operation but blesses from Dr.Rajakumar only saves Muthu to sing again. After his marriage and birth of a child Muthu names him as Raj.
This is the first real tribute paid to icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajakumar. The voice and dialogues are matched to the situation although Annavru appears in mythological costume.
Rahul is impressive but he has to further learn to ease his role. Nidhi is not good in close up. Dooradha Sundari she is. The veterans have done their roles precisely. Thara and Chitra Shenoy both deliver a child at this age on screen. Rangayana Raghu comedy is once again boring as it is very garrulous.
Karnataka Jagadha Swarga Sundara…Antharaladhalli hadondu mooduthithe horate Baralu Hathoriyuthidhe….is OK but it Athoriyuthidhe….it should have been Hathoriyuthidhe…. Camera work is average.
If you are die hard fan of Dr.Rajakumar then you can watch this one.
