‘Minchu’ meaning lightning is not a very light cinema but has a strong subject. Perseverance is the best thing in life the film focus. This is against all odds the hero carries out is very interesting.
For the newcomer Siddanth this is well made to suit his looks and he has delivered quite convincingly. ‘Avana Kaiyalli Katthi idre nalku jana saithare, Nin Kainalli Katthi idhre nalku jana badhuki Ulithare…..is not a very new dialogue on silver screen. Yet the protagonist rejoining his medicine fourth year to become a doctor is interesting to watch.
Anger is one of the quotients of Navarasa! But it should be in certain proportion. It can exceed when the mind is not permitting. That is the situation when Madhevi is attracted towards Ganesha. Madhevi wants him to marry him but Ganesha says her to be a ‘Hennu’ first. When things go out of control Madhevi takes revenge in the process she comes in to contact with electricity box and pays penalty. This irks extremely the siblings. They decide to finish off Gaensh who is now in some other college. What happens is as expected.
Archana of Aa Dinagalu is very sweet in a rugged role she has got. Jannith Dooda deserved to be better. Rabble rousers Dharama and Sathyaprakash are routine and boring. The action scenes are well handled.
Ondhe Ondhu Kanasu…is the only one song that strikes. Cinematography is impressive.
A remake of ‘Thimiru’ Tamil films is passable.
