The polishing of the story is more important than polished knives. Director Ananthnaraju for the story of producer Maheen who has also acted in this film should know the need of masses and classes when he has actor like Shivarajakumar to his side in the lead cast.
The nexus, vicious circle, Chakravyuha for the hero on Kannada screen has become common. Here in this film Nanda an ordinary canteen owner in the college has to carry out a lot of strength. In the process the gang war his love how he manages is the crux of this film. When injustice is condemned by his sister she slaps on a youth who happened to be the son of Bhaijan the kingpin in the underworld. Nanda takes on the boulder to his side to teach a lesson to those who insulted his sister. He in the process is lost in the underworld. His pure love also suffers immensely. Putting down everyone the lovers jump in a huge water fall. This is Indian cinema they have to come back. They do it to the surprise of everyone.
Shivarajakumar as Nanda is cool and killing in his job. Maheen the producer in the role has done a convincing job. Sandhya has a long way to go. Avinash and Rangayana Raghu have filled in the required strength.
Not all the songs are very good. V.Manohar melody is there but they are not catchy. Cinematography by Ramesh Babu is adequate. The stunts composed in the film are chilling.
An action feast for the front benchers!
