Title – Shivalinga, Producer – KA Suresh, Direction – P Vasu, Cinematography – PKH Doss, Music – V Harikrishna, Cast – Dr Shivarajakumar, Vedika, Urvashi, Avinash, Malavika, Vinaya Prakash, Sadhu Kokila, Pradip Ravat and others.

Top director of South India P Vasu is back to ‘Aptha Mithra’ and ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ style of making after a setback in Upendra starring ‘Arakshaka’ but his ‘Drishya’ was a remake earned good name and money. P Vasu has

The horror effect especially in the second half keeps on the edge of the seat. The devil force has no bounds. It does not care about the CID investigation. It in fact directs the investigative officer at some places. Finally the court hall type set up reminds ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ to defuse the devil power.

At the start of the film you find a murder taking place of Rahim. That is considered as suicide by Railway Police. The lover of deceased Rahim – Shanthi is sure that Rahim is not coward to commit suicide. The file is reopened. In comes the distinct and delectable CID officer Shiva. There is a pigeon supporting his investigation. The devil force of Rahim comes on wife of Shiva – Sathyabhama. That is the most stressing issue for cop. He has to guard his office and his wife together. Shiva is confirmed that it is a murder of Rahim in the train. As the investigation fasten up the impact and stress for him reduces. In this twist the actual reason surfaces from Shiva. It is mistaken identity of one of the relatives in the murder of Rahim. That is very hapless. Rahim is victim of no mistake. It is only after the guilty is punished the devil force on Sathyabhama set her free.

It is delectable performance from Dr Shivarajakumar. He is fit as CID officer. Vedhika scores well from her brilliant performance. It is a very difficult role she has taken up. P Vasu son Senthil Vasu has come out good as victim of mistaken identity. Vaishali Deepak is convincing like Avinash, Sidlingu Sridhar, Ashok and Urvashi. Sadhu Kokila side kick is OK.

V Harikrishna tunes remind already popular songs scored by others. PKH Doss cinematography is adequate. Graphic and special effects plus background score is another trump card of this film.
