AMRUTHAVAHINI TEASER SONG RELEASED

The legendary writer and next Kannada Sahitya Sammelana President Dr HS Venkatesh Murthy debut into acting at the age of 76 ‘Amruthavahini’ is ready to hit silver screen in January 2020.

On Monday evening at Renukamba Digital theatre the teaser of the film and a song was screened and the impeccable writer of Kannada literature has given a cool and composed performance.

What was difficulty in acting for Dr HSV? It is coughing for the film role. I am an oldie in this film and fitted with Asthma complaint. I am neglected person and the cough I used to pick up often was not that easy for me. Director K Narendra Babu used to stand behind camera and he used to cough and I was repeating at the situations of 12 days shooting I took part remembered Dr HSV.

I never knew that ‘Kemmodu is Kashta’ he said and patted the effort as the substance of the film relates to maximum of people in the society. The child actress Baby Rithwika in fact scores so well and gives a twist to the film pointed the writer par excellence. Answering a question he said a writer is actor in himself.

Amruthavaahini…Hridayada Haadi has compositions from well known light music composer Upasana Mohan for four songs but three are kept for the film. Upasana Mohan composed over 70 poems of Dr HSV in his career so far.

Birthday boy of yesterday cameraman Giridhar Diwan has worked behind camera. It was eight days shooting according to him but it was 11 days shoot according to director of the film K Narendra Babu.

Lahari Velu, Krishne Gowda, Dr Vinay Gowda, Somanna, Anatha Padmanabha, producer Sampath Kumar, actors Supriya, Vatsala Mohan, Babu Rithwika were present on the dais.

Director K Narendra Babu has made a shift from commercial films to offbeat film from this ‘Amruthavahini’. He recalled the wonderful experience that taught him so much from legendary writer Dr HSV around.
