It was assembly of ‘Appa, Doddappa and Chikkappa’ for Vinay Rajakumar for his third film. It is a film with rom com style. There will be three court room scenes in the film. Nusrat character a Muslim role is female counterpart. The female lead for Nusrat has not yet been selected.
Raghavendra Rajakumar taking lead of the media address on Monday morning stated that he has liked the story line expressed. The present youths selecting their subject and having workshop for it is very right aspect he says. For any role grandfather films are there to give tips he says. We have grandfather data bank in the house. For mannerisms I have to work out. It is a profession of a lawyer I carry in the role. Doing various kinds of roles is my intention he said.
Sudhir Shanbog from television serial writing first prepared the script of this film and then thought of Vinay Rajakumar to the role. We want to keep Nusrat character in suspense he said but later he agreed that she is the heroine character in the film. When Raghavendra Rajakumarji accepted the subject narrated, half the work was done for me he says. Sudhir Shanbogh is also writing for a Tulu film. Ashubedra has taken a story of him for a film.
In Manikya Films Kempe Gowda is producer of this film. He has entrusted the film making to his son Suresh. It is my son who came with proposal. When he was told that Vinay Rajakumar is hero, he met all three sons of Dr Rajakumar to seek blessings. All of them have extended support. I could not do a film of Dr Rajakumar being a hardcore fan from 70’s. Doing a film of his grandson is my fortune he says. Kempegowda hails from Nagamangala Taluk of Mandya district. He was BJP BBMP councilor. I have lost my parents in one year. I wanted to do something in their name. This film is a tribute to my parents Kempe Gowda.
Veteran Journalist Ganesh Kasargod son Abhishekh Kasargod is behind the camera for his third film. Abhishekh has liked the story of this film immensely.
Sunad Gautham is blending the Hindustani and Classical base for five songs in this film. Suni, Siddu Kodipura writing lyrics, Niranjana Devaramane is editor, Raghu (Mysuru) is art director, Dayanand is costume designer.
