Firstly the Karnataka government organized Bengaluru International Film Festival should get the feel of ‘Nammadu’ – for this reason Suneel Puranik held separate meeting with Artists association, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, Kannada Film Producers Association and Kannada Film directors association to get feedback and invite them for the coming soon 12th edition of BIFEE from 26th February to 4th March 2020.
Suneel Puranik invited the film media fraternity on Wednesday to get the suggestions looked very different.
With Himanth Raj as registrar of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Suneel Puranik stated that this time the festival is special on many grounds.

Besides Orion Mall 11 screens, the festival of films from 60 countries could be watched at Navrang theatre, Suchitra Film Society, Kalavidhara Sangha auditorium.
Indian Film music section is best part of the 12th Biffes. There will be films of Anant Nag section. Nearly seven films of Anant Nag of different languages are available in this section. For senior citizens 10 seats in each auditorium is reserved.
The Kannada Film Directors Association is coming up with Film Bazar section that would eventually fetch good market for Kannada films across the globe.

The 12th Biffes is inaugurated at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium by Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. The valedictory on 4th of March will be held at Banquet Hall Vidhana Soudha in the presence of Vajubai Vala, Governor of Karnataka. The Asian, Indian and Kannada films in the competition will be presented awards.
It is 200 films from 60 countries – a real festival of films in Silicon City Bengaluru.
