One of the humble and simple cameramen of Kannada cinema KM Vishnuvardhana passed away of heart attack in a private hospital near Marathhalli on Sunday. He was Karnataka state award winning cameraman for ‘Neenyaare’ Kannada cinema of 2008-2009.
KM Vishnuvardhana suffered heart attack a few years back but he recouped. This time it was tough for him to recover. He was just 42 years of age.
KM Vishnuvardhana passed out in1993 from Sri Jayachamarajendra Polytechnic in Diploma in cinematography. He worked under senior cameraman BS Basavaraj and later in the camps of R Manjunath and R Giri as assistant.
In 2003 he turned independent cameraman but in five years time for his special ability in cinematography got the state award for ‘Neenyare’ Kannada cinema.
He has worked for films like Baithare Baithare, Hubballi, Snehanjali, Ghulama, Neenyaare, Kannadada Kiran Bedi, Yodha, Nariya Seere Kadda, Sugreeva (as one of the cameramen), Gun, Raaja Huli, Panganama, Hara, Tyson, Birth and the recent one ‘Raja Simha’.
