The craze of family members is different. They are living in a remote Bale Kundhri village in Belgaum that is far away from Bengaluru. A remake of ‘Dhe Dhakka’ Marathi film has several good points to touch the heart and all of them are brought in the Kannada film ‘Crazy Kutumba’. There are good emotions, laughing material, lovely songs to suit the occasions. It is enough for you to go to ‘Crazy Kutumba’. B Ramamurthy with a mistake in editing has by and large given a film for the family and finally leaves a question on borrowing culture, using the costumes of western society.

Mallana Gowda Patil (Ananthnag) son of a freedom fighter is in the company of intoxication. He has a plastic tin filled with his drink. His son is Shanker Patil (Ramesh Aravind) who is not even 7th standard passed but he is a good mechanic. He has found out the machine that would reduce the consumption of petrol drastically. For this discovery he has spent six acres of land of his father and the sacred Mangalasutra of his wife. Sumathi (Sanathini) in the house is like Punyakoti. For all problems she is tears collector. There is a cute daughter of Shanker Patil that is Gowri (Baby Dhanya). It is Gowri who got through the several rounds of dance competition to contest in the final in Bangalore. In this house is Shanker Patil his brother in law Devaraj a No 1 thief.

With no money to reach Bangalore from Belgaum Mallana Gowda Patil mortgage the house to fetch money for the family travel. He is sure that his grand daughter would win the competition.

As the journey takes place a series of obstacles put down the courage of Shanker Patil but he surpasses with good support and reaches Bangalore to the competition. Again with strain he gets entry to his daughter Gowri for the competition. Whether Gowri wins Rs.1 lakh competition prize money, what happened to the discovery of Shanker Patil? You have to take a journey from your house to the cinema theatres where ‘CK’ is showing.

It is a well stitched role for Ramesh Aravind. He is good in emotions and wins in the dialogue delivery. Ananthnag as drunkard Mallana Gowda is equally good. Sanathini has a good role to perform and she succeeds. Baby Dhanya is perfect. Rajanikanth as Devaraj a thief earns laurels for his histrionics and comedy.

Amma Naanu Benne Kaddillamma…sung by Shreya Goshal (that was popularized by MD Pallavi) the composition of Mysore Anathaswamy is the best of all. Hendathiyobbalu Maneyolagiddare… second best and used for the right occasion like the Nademundhe Nademundhe….song of Kuvempu. Nanagidre Srimantha…sung by Rajesh Krishna is meaningful. The Hindi song sung by Pallavi Chori Chori….pitch of the song is good. Rickey Kej once again deserves compliments.

Mallikarjun cinematography in the outdoor deserved to be better. It is tough to handle the camera for this type of travelogue film.

Go and be a part of the crazy Kutumba!
