HDK WINS AMBARISH, ASHOK, MANOHAR, YOGISHWAR LOSE IN LS ELECTION
Posted date: 16/May/2009
It has been a disaster for rebel star Ambarish and actor cum producer C.P.Yogishwar. Both lose the 15th Lok Sabha election battle from Mandya and Bangalore Rural Parliament seats. The results came out around 12 noon on Saturday, 16th May 2009
The super power H.D.Kumaraswamy the former chief minister – producer, exhibitor and distributor of films has won the Bangalore Rural LS Seat with a huge margin of 1,30,275 votes. He defeated Yogishwar of BJP and Congress candidate Tejaswini the former MP.
What actually cost 200 films old actor Ambarish in this defeat? It is time for introspection. The Congress Party last minute decision of selection of Ambarish and Ambarish in two minds and last minute entering the fray plus his poor attendance to LS might have also cost his seats says the political pundit. Yet Ambarish garnered good votes it is reliably learnt.
Ambarish lost to JDS candidate Cheluvarayaswamy from the Mandya Lok Sabha seat. C.R.Manohar from JDS contesting from Chickballapur constituency and actor Ashok who was an independent candidate lost the LS elections.
What is interesting is that HD Kumaraswamy will go to Parliament with his father former Prime Minister H.D.Deve Gowda as he has retained the seat from Hassan Lok Sabha seat.
In Karnataka the BJP is standing in No.1 position with Congress-I and JDS in second and third position.
