It was distributors day at Renukamba Studio as the film ‘I Love You’ released on last Friday has made a very good progress in the box office. The distributors Mohan Das Pai, son Dheeraj, Mohan and KP Srikanth were present with super star Upendra, director and producer R Chandru, cinematographer Sugnan and music director Dr Kiran on the stage.

For the tumultuous welcome for ‘I love You’ in the box office a huge cake was cut and Mohan Das Pai said he was in two minds to take this film for distribution. This film has shown good progress on the first day itself. I got the clue when Tamil films running theatres in Bhadravathi, Haasan and Chickmagaluru asked for this film screening. That is also enough to declare the success of the film he said.

Mohan another senior distributor said theatres running NGK Tamil films have sought for I Love You of Upendra is a good sign. Good effort of Chandru is responsible for it. After KGF this is super hit according to him from first day results.

KP Srikanth a backbone to director R Chandru from Taj Mahal days said he made forecast on the trailer release day when Dr Shivarajakumar was present that it would click. It has become true he remembered.

R Chandru a serious and grand maker of Kannada films said the success of I Love You has given him scope for making a big step further. When Mohan Das Pai and Mohan said that I have hit a jackpot I was extremely happy. R Chandru went on a flash back and told how he was impressed with KP Srikanth handing him over Rs.1 lakh as advance for Mylari Kannada cinema. It was because of Upendra who gave consent for the film without payment in the beginning.

Upendra also went on a flash back. He remembered how he was confused with ‘A’ film. it was Yashraj distributor who came at 3 am early morning and said it will click. Like that for this film everything has assembled well. Success is like Chidambara Rahasya. No one knows how it comes. This day belongs to ‘Distributors Day’ said Upendra.

Sugnan cameraman of high reputation made a touching point. When we spend the money of the film that failed it becomes very difficult. In the case of success of a film it is free mind set he pointed.

Dr Kiran thanked his team members and encouragement from director and producer R Chandru.
