With a popular title like ‘Jali Baru Poli Hudugaru’ Karanji Sridhar struggled hard in packing his film with all commercial elements. A song of veteran writer Dr BR Lakshman Rao get the idea of a story means it is a varied thinking on the part of the director Karanji Sridhar.
A film for entire family ‘Jali Baru….has some good elements but among all of them the two romantic numbers between Madarangi Krishna and Manasi is memorable! After a long time we are seeing a melodious and erotic song that obviously a collection point for the producer of the film. Surilide Geyala….is the best and would remain in the chart for long. Herogintha director Intelligent we could say!
There has been some fine selection of star cast in the 121 minutes Jaali Baru Poli Hudugru. The boys to be precise in this film are not ‘Poli’ in fact. There is no ‘Baru’ also quite often.
Then how can a story evolve is your question. That is the craftsmanship of director Karanji Sridhar. There is a feud between a rowdy headed by Seshappa (Mico Nagaraj) and ‘Saralamma’ (Kalyani) is opponent in the village. Seshappa wants his brother to become MLA while Saralamma – Baddi Bangaramma in the village wants her son to become MLA.
In this tussle various announcements are made by money lender Saralamma. Her son Santhu (Krishna) a collector falls in love with Samiksha (Manasi) but things turn to various moods and moments when sister of Santhu is in love with a college senior who represents ‘Gopi’ of the song of BRL.
In the sidekicks of this film there is Chikkanna and Jahangir doing best part of the work, Kalyani and Mico Nagaraj finally send a message to the society.
Madarangi Krishna action and romantic moods are too good. Manasi gives the mood and alerts the youths from her looks and wet costumes in songs.
Veer Samarth has done a pretty good job. Krish Joshi screenplay finally reaches the destination that reminds of a few Kannada films.
Go watch this movie for romantic moments, action moods plus live and let live theory!
