The much expected and a bit delayed cinema of ‘Tagaru’ Dr Shivarajakumar ‘Kavacha’ in which he plays blind for the first time is now ready to release on Vikari Nama Samvasthara – the New Year Day – April 5.

Speaking to media persons at Mysuru Dr Shivarajakumar expressed happiness at accepting this remake film after 14 years. It is precisely because of the subject and performance of Mohan Lalji in ‘Oppam’ impressed me to accept this film he pointed.

Mysuru is my one of the favorite places. Films like Simhada Mari, Janumada Jodi was shot in these areas. I like Hanumanthu Biryani he went on flashback. Let the Ugadi festival bring more sweet than sour mood for everyone he made humble appeal.

Drawing his attention on ‘Kavacha’, in case you say that I have done 30 percent what Mohan Lalji had done, it is a big accolade for me he says. Although I travelled 30 long years I learnt something from actress Meenakshi while working for this film. It is a pleasure to watch her performance. The ‘Hosabelaku’ song used for the film will be shortly released. With proper eye sight we find it difficult to perform. As blind it was challenging to clear shots. The blind in the society do not seek sympathy. They have enough of commitment in life he mentioned.

Vasishta Simha speaking on this occasion said a few films he signed in 2017, this one really haunted him. I am in 40 years age get up. For makeup I was spending three hours. Kavacha is a thriller cum sentiment cinema. Working with Shivanna in the third film and addressing the media in my birth place Mysuru is another happiness for Vasishta N Simha.

It has been unforgettable experience mentioned actress Krithika Jayakumar. Director GVR Vasu is hoping the film to release all over at a time. MVV Sathyanarayana was present at the media briefing of the film ‘Kavacha’.
