MOTHER SAVITHA SOCIAL CONCERN FILM

Perhaps for the first time a HIV positive Sanjeev Udupi is appearing on silver screen for 45 minutes in the film with social concern ‘Mother Savitha’…Save New Born in the direction and production of Raju Halaguru.

A study in the last 10 months by Raju Halaguru (who made Pritiyinda in the past) earned him lot of information on sex workers, homo sexual, HIV patients, eunuch life etc. He has clubbed all such neglected sectors in his film. A child born to HIV victim need not have the disease is his discovery from the doctor’s fraternity. As a result a child born to HIV in this film is free from problems. The intention is to take away the fear in the mind.

In addition to Sanjeeva Udupi HIV patient acting in the film there is eunuch Pallavi in the cast with Manasa and Deepak heading the star cast.

Sanjeeva affected with HIV positive since 17 years is a Rajyotsava award winner. She is inspired from Veena Dhari. According to Sanjeeva there are 3.5 lakh HIV positive out of this 18000 are children. Even if two out of 100 like us will be good lead a life he says. He has Rs.10 lakhs house and leading a life with worry in him.

The role of Manasa as HIV victim in the film is not new because top stars in Hindi cinema have performed in that role. For the sake of awareness through my character, I have agreed to appear in this film says Manasa.

Pallavi eunuch in the film ‘Mother Savitha’ stated that there was good cooperation from the team that made her to forget the difficulty of life for some time.

Deepak is in lead actor role with Manasa. They play couple affected with HIV. Sridhar is a doctor in this film with negative shade.

Sureschandra has composed music for this film. He has one song on mother and child.
