One of the senior most producers of Kannada cinema Ramu believing heavily on action gives a two and half an hour ‘Mumbai’ with lot of sound and lavish style.

It is a sound film from SR Ramesh, the first half is lively and second half action is of course with a purpose of great human being – protagonist of the film.

The love affair of Aishwarya (Teju) and Jakitha (Krishna) in the first half switches to serious note in the second half. The protagonist promises Rs.30 lakhs in six months for the blind school as bank loan is bothering.

It is Rangayana Raghu called as Mumbai who takes Jakitha to big bad world of underworlds. The power of Jakitha unravels at this place. No bullets reach him, no long sharp edge weapons come near to him.

The gang of underworld is huge in Mumbai. For his deals and overpowering the opponent gang, Jakitha earns enemies.

When he is in hustle and bustle of Mumbai his fiancé Aishu also reaches further complicates the issues. When the final stage is set the key underworld don Ashish Vidyarthi changes his mind. For that he takes the penalty. What happens to the lover in the process of big team pouncing? You have to watch the film climax for it.

As youngster with steel arms, Krishna steals the show from his action and lively dance. This is his first biggest action cinema. As a Bar cash collector his interest for pigeons and plants with motive of ‘Nethra Daana’, he has clicked even in romantic moods with Teju.

Theju in a full length heroine film is here to stay for long. She looks so sweet and reminds the yesteryears actress Roja in some angles. Another strong contender to ‘R’s’ in Kannada filmdom.

Chaswa, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Srinivasa Prabhu have given good support for this film.

Sridhar Sambram has given two lovely tunes. Ramesh Chebbinaad cinematography work is also very competitive.  The dialogue writer has given emphasis to rhythmic words gets noticed.

This is a film for action lovers.

For the younger generation here is a film that is a must watch for the great Vachanas of Sri Allamaprabhu!
