‘Nanu Parvathi’ a collection of 31 days of main article in the editorial page of prestigious newspaper Kannada Prabha in the book form was brought out by KM Veeresh in Chitraloka publication. The articles in edit page for 31 issues written by eminent journalist and literary personality Jogi is ‘Nanu Parvathi’ book priced at Rs.100 was released by Kichcha Sudeep at SRV auditorium on Sunday evening in the presence of Raghavendra Rajakumar, Dr Jayamala, Ravi Hegde, editor of Kannada Prabha, noted director SK Bhagwan, KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu on the dais.

Kichcha Sudeep releasing the book admitted that he had not written a book in his life time. I cannot concentrate after a few pages. It happened once at the Airport where everyone was reading books. I also purchased huge book without knowing who the author is. I started reading and at the 7th page I told to myself it is enough. I signed the book as presentation to my wife Priya. This book ‘Nanu Parvathi’ I would read. I get to know so many things from Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar through this book he expressed in his address.

The Shakthi Devathe of Kannada cinema my mother should be acknowledged great because of three things mentioned Raghavendra Rajakumar – one is Ooty trouble during the shooting, second is 108 days of Appaji in forest and third one 48 days no sleep after Appaji demise – on all three occasions she stood like pillar of strength.  I can only say ‘Amma Please come back’ stated Raghanna.

Dr Jayamala, SK Bhagwan recalled earlier days of Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar, Ravi Hegde editor of Kannada Prabha recalled how the evolution of this book happened.

Sa Ra Govindu statement was a big surprise. Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar 15 days before death speaking to Karnataka Chief Minister on a place next to her husband after death is known only to me and chief minister. It was not known to anyone in the family he stated.

Jogi author of this collection of articles expressed his wish of writing another book on legendary Parvathamma Rajakumar. This is my favorite of 55 books written so far he mentioned.
