Dr Shivarajakumar is not seen as firebrand off screen. On ‘Kavacha’ success meet he was upset on the TV channels not promoting the Kannada films.

I have right to make such statement. Even after 50 years in cinema I would be making such appeal in the interest of Kannada cinema industry says Shivarajakumar. I have not seen any change in the print media. They are giving right encouragement and space.

It is only TV channels that are not giving space for good running films like ‘Kavacha’, let us think about other film makers who are good in contents.

Whenever you ask, artists like me give bites. We have never disobeyed. When the films are doing good why not give encouragement asks Dr Shivarajakumar. I am sorry, in case I have hurt anyone. But the fact of the matter is that in the name of elections there is no space for Kannada films in channels.

Out of 12 hours telecast at least one hour could be allotted to Kannada cinema opines Dr Shivarajakumar. We all work for money in this entertainment field. It is films that come very regularly. Not the elections. They come once in five years.

In case the TV channels promote Kannada films in right way we would go to another level observes Karunada Chakravarthi Dr Shivarjakumar.
