Son of an affluent business family in United Arab Emirates Larry is rechristened as Rohith according to his sign Taurus for his first Kannada film ‘Ellellu Neene Nannallu Neene’ that went on the floor on his dad’s 58th birthday on August 18. Rohith played the violin among 30 others for the song recording shot arranged by Dr Richard Castellino who is making debut in Kannada as director. Castellino had directed films in Tulu, Konkani and Kodava the other three recognized languages won state, national and international recognitions. It is for the first time he is picking a Kannada film.

Larry born and brought up in Dubai by his aristocratic father Frank Fernandes who is running Mosaco Shipping and Forwarding import and export business studied in Our Own High School in Karama, Bar Dubai and stayed for 25 years. He came to Mangalore for three years BBM degree from St Aloysius College. Looking after the shipping freight forwarding business for six years Larry is new to acting. In school and colleges he had not taken part in any cultural activities. First he was spooted by a family friend and introduced to Dr.Richard Castellino. Later he was accommodated in a shoe string budget Konkani film ‘Kazar’ by his father in the direction of Dr Richard Catellino. Now for proper training and knowing the Kannada language he is brought to the Star Creators one month crash course.

Rohith plays a chauffer in his debut Kannada film and says the story line is very interesting. ‘I will do justice to the role’ says confident looking guy Rohith.

Rohith’s father David Frank Fernandes on turning 58th on 18th of August – the lucky No.9 personality has taken up the 9th film of Dr.Richard Castellino ‘Kazar’ a Konkani film on his first Kannada film was very frank in his expressions. I am not for profits but the investment is met I would take up Tulu language cinema later on. ‘Dubai Jana Maga hero agiddane andaru and brought him before Dr.Richard Castellino’ – that is the beginning of my son’s career in cinema he pointed.

‘No Bell is a bell unless it rings, no music is music unless one sings it and no life is life unless it is lived’ says David Frank Fernandes.
