Have you heard anyone coming out from ‘Harischandra Ghat’ alive? Take this in a lighter vein. Actor Akshay of ‘Harischandra Ghat’ Kannada cinema has decided to step out of the film – the producer and director of the film BP Srinivas is involved in a cheating case. BP Srinivas daughter Shalini is the heroine of the film.

To announce his son Akshay coming from the film producer and father of Akshay – RV Venkatappa stepped in to the Bell Hotel to announce the news.

At this time of media meet a telephone call for Akshay was made by his father. The crux of the matter is that he is not happy to be a part of ‘Harischandra Ghat’ Kannada cinema. After knowing such stunning news that BP Srinivas is a cheat I have decided to step out of the film said Akshay. I have worked for three days for close up and montage shots in the grave yard and not taken any payment for the film. Even in case BP Srinivas is proved clean I am not interested in being a part of this film said Akshay.

Akshay’s father RV Venkatappa knew BP Srinivas from the days of ‘Varasdhara’ Kannada film said his close friends some of them in the media too advised to take such a step.
