The Dr Rajakumar family members on Saturday morning has set an example for neat, tidy at the same time grand function on the occasion of 81st birthday of the icon of Kannada cinema Karnataka Rathna Dr Rajakumar.

Among the four notable developments of today from the family of Dr Rajakumar the three sons of Dada of Karnataka Dr Rajakumar – Shivarajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar and Puneeth Rajakumar signed the related papers to donate their body after death. The papers were handed over to M.Prakash of Ramaiah Hospitals in the presence of Smt Rajakumar. SK Bhagwan blessed 100 plus years life for all the three sons of Dr Rajakumar. This is a great boon for the hospitals that do lot of research on human body. The stalwart songs taking up such task is an open appeal for others to follow said Prakash.

The specialty of this year Dr Rajakumar 81 birthday was the announcement of the ‘Dr Rajakumar Souhardha Prashasti’ that was the brain child of hat trick hero Shivarajakumar. Shivarajakumar recalling the companions of his father the united living culture announced that the awards instituted from this year will go to veteran Shanthamma, veteran director SK Bhagwan and knowledgeable actor Shivaramanna.

The award for each of the three carried Rs.1 lakh cash, citation, certificate, shawl and a rose garland. It has been the wish of my mother to select these three personalities disclosed Shivarajakumar.

I know this family from a long time. When Appu was born the nurse handed the baby to my hand as Dr Rajakumar was busy in shooting. I held the baby later Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar said you have touched Appu for the first time I am sure he will reach the height. I am one of the family members of Dr Rajakumar with no expectation. Giving this award they have fulfilled ‘Runa’. I don’t know what to say. For all my awards this one is ‘Kalashapraya’ said Shivaramanna.

SUPER HERO PUNEETH WAS SUPREME ON HIS BOOK ON DR RAJAKUMAR

The third event among the four developments from the family of Dr Rajakumar on Saturday was the release of cover page and a few inside pages of ‘Dr Rajakumar – the person behind Personalities’.

Taking a few minutes but giving all relevant information Puneeth Rajakumar arranged for the slides of some of the pages of his much cherished book.

I wanted to bring this high quality book when my father was living. Six years ago I have discussed on this book. Now it is taking some shape and by September or November this book in English will be out in the national and international market. My wish is to bring smile in the face of everyone when he goes through every page of this book. What a fabulous person is Dr Rajakumar one should say is my only wish said Puneeth Rajakumar.
