AVINASH 50 LAKHS FOR 50 DAYS CALL SHEET IN `AR` TELUGU
Posted date: 29/April/2010

Yet another richly talented catching train to Chennai and Hyderabad from Bangalore! Avinash is growing big from role to role. The stunning role of him in ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ of Ramachandra Acharya he is repeating for the fifth time with fifty days call sheet and Rs.50 lakhs plus remuneration in Rs.35 crore Telugu version of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ that star Venkatesh.
Avinash the English lecturer turned actor from ‘Sri Madhwacharya’ of GV Iyer the favorite of writer and editor YNK crossed all barriers in life to the peak only from acting talent.
Many coveted roles in Kannada Avinash is now moving to Vizag as the muhurut for Telugu version of producer Suresh is taking place. Bit depressed for poor style of 50 days of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ event Avinash the amazing actor spread his thoughts on some of the recent developments when he was speaking to www.chitratara.com at The City Institute.

MOST OF THE ACTORS ARE PRIVATE NUMBER HOLDERS

Why private number actors when they are working for public. Public give us money and watch the films. We are for public. Avinash gives the example of Dr Raj, Dr Vishnu, Darshan, Vijay and so many not following that private numbers. We should always be available to the public at least in one number instead of going in for private number says Avinash.
Those who reach the pinnacle like Dr Raj and Dr Vishnu can go in for private numbers. That is not possible in the future of Kannada industry also. They have grown beyond actors as great human beings.

ACTORS HAVE STOPPED

After Vijay and Ganesh the actors have stopped is what Avinash strongly believes giving reasons of last three year reports of actors coming to Kannada cinema and not able to sustain. As I see many heroes coming up but no one is having sustaining ability.
Why the fate of Kannada cinema industry is so poor. After three shots of facing the camera I get to know the fate of the film is poor. I am keeping hopes on ‘Putra’ in which I play father to Diganth. It is a Tamil film remake Umakanth in Kannada has done well.

DR VISHNU HAUNTS ME FOR EVER

For a day I remember at least 10 times Dr Vishnuvardhana. Every now and then Malavika cries remembering Dr Vishnu and I have to console her. The day before the death Dr Vishnu called up Malavika and told her you have to be careful because people may attack you for asking such questions in ‘Badhuku Jataka Bandi’.
What guidelines Dr Vishnu has set in from Snehaloka nothing has changed. We are 60 persons today. Play cricket. In the car Dr Vishnu used to come Dr Bharathi Vishnu comes. As she gets down Malavika starts crying. The great respect what Dr Vishnu was commanding I think it is only after Dr Rajakumar. He was Sober, sensitive, never disturbing anyone on any occasion. He should have lived for ten more years. The surprise is that according to his horoscope he should have lived till 84 years.
Even in house nothing has changed. Same Sridhar, same Radha and even the same cell number of Dr Vishnuvardhana that is now used by Bharathi madam! That was Dr Vishnu wish also. Nothing should change.

DR VISHNUVARDHAN SHOULD HAVE SEEN SUCCESS OF ‘APTHARAKSHAKA’

He wanted to quit if ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ had bombed. He was telling privately it is enough of cinema. ‘Ballary Naga’ failure disturbed him. All of us wanted to see this success. Dr Vishnu particularly should have enjoyed this position today.
The success should always come to the industry persons like V Ravichandran, Ramu, Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar and a few others. They reinvest instead of putting on buildings. They build cinema.

AVINASH WANTS TO TAKE UP DIRECTION

Direction is my goal. I can’t say when it is going to happen. I don’t have guts to produce a film. I have some thoughts and my direction is still a distant dream.
