The chairman of KCA TS Nagabharana disclosing that inspiration has to be experienced saluted the giant BR Panthulu and said the one year of KCA is first step of the three years term.
A survey report of Kannada film industry prepared by Anand and Vasanth of Banavasi Balaga, Belli Baraha the monthly magazine of KCA and KCA aim and aspirations were released in the presence of Dr B Saroja Devi, BR Panthulu daughter BR Vijayalakshmi, Karnataka information department official Mallikarjuna Kelegade.
The entire year KCA is celebrating the BR Panthulu film festival in all 22 districts of Karnataka where Belli Mandala is conducted by KCA.
The KCA members Chindodi Bangaresh, KH Savithri, HN Maruthi, MN Vyasa Rao, Gunasheelan, registrar of KCA Jagannath Prakash were present at the event on Monday morning.
Among the objectives of KCA are – Act as bridge between Karnataka government and film medium, Establish state film library, adopt uniform code in the state to support film movement, conduct, film appreciation courses, seminars and workshops, publish literature on cinema and TV, establish film museums, hold brainstorming sessions on this powerful medium which has direct impact on the audience and government, Reframe rules of state awards and subsidy, establish a state film school.
