Another first time producer, another new hero and heroine and yet another new director the talkative Jayatheertha – ‘Prasada’ ‘Olave Mandhara’ is ready to hit the screen on 21st of April all over Karnataka.
At the media meet at Grand Inn on Monday evening mourning the demise of S Ramachandra the ace cameraman the team of ‘Olave Mandhara’ producer Govindaraju, his son hero Srikanth, Rangayana Raghu, Sharan and director addressed the media.
Sa Ra Govindu was special invitee on this occasion who wished good success for the first time producer. Shrikanth has just not come finishing the college. He is well trained and came in front of the camera said Sa Ra Govindu.
It is in this film ace actor Rangayana Raghu has done a tremendous job and his love for his physically handicap wife is no less compared to Shah Jahan and Mumtaz.
I have started from Kanakapura by walk carrying the wheel cart where my wife Veena Sundar is sitting. I have two wives in this film surprised Rangayana Raghu. One is Veena Sunder and the other one is my two wheel wooden cart disclosed Raghu with his usual wit and smile. I had the opportunity stay in Kashi with the reality of life. Somebody told me if I stay for five more days I will remain there in Kashi. On the truth of life we get knowledge in life. Wherever you see the bodies are burning. The reason for agreeing this cinema is the theatre background Jayatheertha. He is from Kalakshetra said Rangayana Raghu. Jayatheertha cleared all doubts in me while working for this film.
Comedy actor Sharan expressed why this Jayatheertha has come so late to the industry. He is with abundant knowledge. I would say he is a talented newcomer. A good new captain has come to Kannada cinema. He is not only director but also an artist. The heroine of this film Akanksha and the young Srikanth are potential actors opined Sharan. This kind of team is inevitable for Kannada cinema industry.
Actor Srikanth with proper training in various facets related to cinema is confident guy. He learnt the acting from other too performing before the camera. For one full day in ice cold water Rangayana Raghu remaining is admirable said Srikanth.
Jayatheertha the debutant director brought to the notice the ‘Love Path’ made by a Bihari that is known as ‘Dasharath Manji’. He made a way by carving the huge hill. That is very essential way for the people to cross over. That is the way created for his wife by husband. This carving of a hill was started in 1982 but unfortunately the husband died on August 19 2007. That is a memorable spot like Taj Mahal.
We have traveled more than 1000 kilometers to places like Orissa, Bihar Assam etc. Jayatheertha preferred to call his cinema as a ‘folk flower’. On the contents of this film he said the subject for this film was provided by one physically handicap woman and her husband Anup Jagirdar at Hiriyur Bus Stand in Karnataka.
